The South West communities in general and Baidoa community in particular have been terrorized and deliberately victimized. The terror act has been jointly committed by Federal Government of Somalia, Ethiopian contingent of AMISOM and Federal and regional Somali Police forces.
When on 13 December, the Ethiopian AMISOM forces captured Sheikh Mukhtar Rooboow behind the order of the President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and transferred him to Mogadishu, the community reacted peacefully burning tires on streets and asking to free Sheikh Mukhtaar as per the below pictures. But no fighting and gunfire from the community were reported.
