Thanks for the commendable job towards Somalia’s peacekeeping, determination and persistency in the restoration of peace and stability in our country.
The so called President of Southwest State of Somalia, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen and his Minister of Internal Affairs Mohamed Abukar, illegally overstepped against the traditional norms for their cheap political selfishness by going against the long existing of Somali customary traditional system of choosing traditional leaders known as, Malaaq, Ugaas, Garaad, Suldaan and etc. who are not government officials but only for the sole purpose of harvesting votes for the 2020/2021 election.
To make a long story short, should the tribal leaders are chosen by their own clan members, Laftagareen and his renegades are certain that they will have no authority over these leaders for them to be expecting in bringing puppet members of Parliament who will later cast their votes for them in the forthcoming election; therefore, they are taking the shortest possible way they can achieve their evil intentions by appointing their own puppets traditional leaders for Digil and Mirifle sub clans in the hope of bringing puppets members of Parliament so that they can keep their businesses going as usual which is not ethically and morally right.
It is principally a taboo, quoting, “an implicit prohibition that is excessively repulsive or, perhaps, too sacred for ordinary people based on moral judgment, religious beliefs, or cultural norms.”… [And breaking them] is usually considered objectionable by society in general, not merely a subset of a culture.”
Some of you may be aware of or have some sort of knowledge that the relationship between Somalis-Southwesterners and the Southwest State administration of Somalia is not that good; and with these new interferences, we predict the situation will be ” from bad to worse ” due to the circumstances surrounding the imposition of Laftagareen’s administration in the first place !!!.
Paying close attention to the silence of Farmaajo’s administration about the interferences of the Somali customary traditional system, Somalis-Southwesterners are sensing coordination between Farmaajo’s Federal administration and Laftagareen’s State administration regarding this matter.
In conclusion, hopefully, you will participate in the discouragement of the allegations against them and by encouraging separation of Somali politics and Somali customary traditional system. May your goodwill meet with success with the prayers of all helpless people in Somalia; particularly, Somalis-Southwesterners in the Southwest State of Somalia.
